Hydrogen will be one of the major energy sources of the immediate and long-term Future of the Global economy. If you are new to Hydrogen, or experienced, and are seeing the almost endless volume of articles, press releases and webinars published on the Hydrogen economy, then this presentation will go some way to providing clarity on this subject without going deeply into the “weeds”.
This presentation will cover the following: “colors” of Hydrogen; distinguish the generating plant sizes; comparison of alternatives such as natural gas (e.g., LNG) and ammonia; key important properties of hydrogen; transport and storage options; likely end users; and risk and environmental issues. It will address the technical and economic challenges facing the path of hydrogen to commercially viable projects. In summary, this presentation will provide a good general introduction to the Hydrogen Revolution which is currently underway.
