Michael Sullivan – National Manager Marine Claims at NTI

Currently

Mike currently is employed by NTI as their national technical lead for Marine Claims having transferred to NTI in 2017 when IAG’s CGU and Suncorps Vero transferred their commercial marine insurance operations of both of those companies, to their joint venture company NTI.

Previously

Mike had joined CGU in 2004 to head up their start up Marine business in Melbourne.

Using his skills in underwriting and management together with a team of highly motivated individuals, CGU created a successful Marine Insurance business.

In recent times, Mike had taken his previous claims management experience into the wider CGU claims environment to establish a National Claims portfolio for Marine for CGU.

Prior to joining CGU in Melbourne, Michael had a working life with other joint venture marine insurers with time in Marine Insurance markets Australiawide - 8 years in Sydney, 3 years in Brisbane and 12 years in both Perth and Adelaide.

Michael has variously worked as in Marine Underwriting and Marine Claims Roles as well as National Management Roles in both Underwriting and Claims. Also some exposure to Marine Broking and Marine Loss Surveying.
