Peter is an Australian qualified lawyer with experience both domestic and international (UK), in the areas of (re)insurance law (casualty, property, PI and marine), shipping/maritime law, aviation law, international arbitration, and commercial litigation. Peter will be discussing some of the more notable cyber-attacks to date, key technological developments in the maritime space and their vulnerabilities, and the way in which the marine insurance market has responded to date.

Nick is a commercial and corporate lawyer with a diverse practice covering general commercial and corporate advice, insurance, technology, intellectual property and data privacy. 

Nick was part of the team which established Kennedys' cyber incident response service and leads Kennedys' APAC cyber risk group.

Peter and Nick will be providing insights on Cyber risks in the marine industry and an update on Australia’s mandatory data breach notification laws.
