The MMIF Presents: Alison Cusack Principal Lawyer at Cusack & Co on "Processes in a Pandemic"

  • 19 May 2020
  • 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Alison Cusack is a breath of fresh air to the maritime industry as the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Cusack and Co Pty Ltd.

The Victorian University first class honours graduate (2010) and ATO graduate (2011) was admitted to practice in December 2012, the same year she commenced her role with ANL as their in-house corporate counsel.

Fast forward to 2018 when Alison took a leap of faith on the pursuit to provide the industry with a values based legal firm designed to provide its clients with the flexibility to do things differently. She enables her clients to not only solve their immediate issues but to help their business manage their risk for the long term.

Alison is an influential force in the maritime community, recently appointed as the WISTA Australia President.

She also contributes her knowledge as a committee member of MLAANZ and a member of MMIF. With Alison’s expert knowledge and industry experience, she also currently teaches as a Master’s Lecturer in Business and Company Law.

Cusack and Co, with Alison at it’s helm will be the innovative firm the industry has been waiting for, building a space for likeminded individuals and companies to do law differently.

Alison's presentation is titled "Processes in a Pandemic - What is the true cost of failing to prepare and accepting “the way things have always been done”
